SEA ISLE CITY - A city-wide calendar of event* is being planned for this resort and public relations director Dick Alliger is urging all clubs, organizations, churches and other groups within the city to send in notices of their meetings and special events to be included in the new calendar.
Publicity chairmen of all organizations should send the dates and information of meetings and special events to: Dick AlUger. Public Relations Director. City Hall. Sea Isle CHy, N.J. 60243. The first calendar will be published in the near future. Mr. Alliger said.

Stroke Club Tuesday COURT HOUSE - All stroke victims and their families are invited to attend the monthly meeting of the Cape May County Stroke Club. 7 p.m Feb. 19 in the conference room at Burdette Tomlin Hospital. I At 7 p.m. Service, the pastor will speak on “What is Man?” Academy Nominees Announced WASHINGTON - Kive young men and women from Cape May County were among 38 candidates from throughout Congressman Bill Hughes' sprawling Second Congressional District to be nominated to the nation's four service academies. Nominees from the Jersey Cape include Gregoiy Rurgin of North Cape May and David Romig of Avalon to the Air Force Academy; Christine Block of Cape May and Paul Brobson of Ocean City to the Naval Academy; 0 Francis Robey of Ocean City to the Merchant Marine Academy. ‘Rockhounding’ Topic Thurs. CAPE MAY POINT - The monthly meeting of the Civic Club begins noon. Feb 14 at the firehouse with Mary Melville speaking on "Rockhounding — Gems and Bible Stones." Preliminary plans have been announced for the club's annual card and bingo party which will begin on Tuesday. March 4. in Victorian Towers. Cape May. Proceeds from the party which will be open to the public will be for the benefit of the Cape May Point Volunteer Fire Company.

He is active in many county associations, including the Cape May County Chamber of Commerce. Ocean City Chamber of Commerce, the Ocean City Hotel-Motel Association, Board of Education and the Ocean •City Board of Realtors The local Kiwanis unit hosts many fund raisers throughout the year which provide over $4,000 annually to youth activities and scholarship needs throughout the community, notes club president Robert Smeltzer. Following the chicken and ham buffet, Doris Forbes will minister in song in a short concert she has prepared.
