CAPE MAY - M«gr. M. Augustine Crine of Our Lady Star of the Sea Church here, will be the initial speaker during the Monday evening ecumenical Lenten services in Victorian Towers auditorium, sponsored by the Catholic Social Services Senior Center. The weekly services are at 7:30 each Monday evening. Speakers the following weeks will include: March 3 — Rev. Sun.School Has Puppet N. WILDWOOD - A puppet show hy Kirk Hastings every other week is offered hy the Sunday school class at Central Bihle Church, 18th and Central Aves. Classes, with sections for all ages, begin at 9:45. Morning worship begins at 11, with evening services at 7. There are five Bihle studies throughout the week. Call 522-5917 for times. There are also weekday youth activities.

Cards Feb. 28 CAPE MAY - The Women's Community Club will sponsor a dessert card party and bingo. 12:30, Feb 28 at the Lafayette Street Community Center. Players are requested to bring their own cards and members are asked to bring gifts for door prizes. Donation at the door is 11.50 and the public is invited.

Life in Christ Expressed By Four Words fishinE creek - "Life to the Full" is the title of the sermon for the service Sunday at Covenant Bihle Church, according to Pastor George Fincke, ‘‘Four words summarize the abundant life in Christ: Trust - we walk before the. Lord as childreh; Obedience - we walk after the Lord as servants; Fellowship - we walk with the Lord as friends; and, Union - we walk in the Lord as members of His body. "To really live, one must he a hom-again Christian in the Biblical sense of that expression," commented the pastor. The service will be broadcast over WCMC, AM (1230) and FM (100.7). "Christ Terms of Discipleship" is the title of the? p.m. sermon. "Crowds were happy to follow Jesus," Dr. Fincke points out, "until He purposefully made following Him desperately hard. This thinned the crowd of would-be-disciples "It costs to serve Christ. Are you willing to pay the price?” asked the pastor. The service is carried over WRIO-FM, 102.3. On Saturday, the Explorers will be serving a free soup, salad & sandwich supper to the congregation. First Service Of Lent Sunday N. WILDWOOD - At, 11 a m. on the First Sunday in Lent, Pastor John M. I^ng of the United Methodist Church will preach on the subject "Meet the Master." Church organist Jayne Holley will play for the hymn sing that begins at 10:45 a.m. Children of Sunday School age may attend the class during the worship hour taught by Gertrude Ilg. Following Benediction there will be a coffee hour inOlney Hall.
Ash Wed. Service Tonight STONE HARBOR - St. Mary's Episcopal Church will observe the beginning of Lent tonight at 7:30 when the Rev. Wesley H. Martin will conduct a special Ash Wednesday service. Adults and children wishing to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation should contact Father Martin as soon as possible to be enrolled in one of the confraternity classes now being organized. Boys who would like to become acolytes are also asked to get in touch with him Weekdays service in the chapel include Morning Prayer at 8:45 a.m. Tuesday through Saturday, and Holy Communion with healing prayers at 10 a.m. on Thursday. The E.C.W. Workshop meets from 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday. The Sunday service begins at 10 a.m. with father Martin celebrating the Holy Eucharist and delivering the sermon. Sunday school pupils gather in the church at the same time. Church office hours are from 9 to noon Tuesday through Saturday; the telephone is 368-5922. Grace Gospel Schedules Activities RIO GRANDE - Pasior Guy L. Rathmell, will preach on "Abiding in Christ" at the 11 a.m. service Sunday at Grace Gospel Chapel. Sunday school is at 9:45 a m. with classes for all ages. > At the 7 p.m. service, tfc? pastor will speak on "Thd Nature of Man". The chapel’s radio program, "Sending Forth the Gospel Light," is 6:30 each Tuesday evening over WRIO-FM (102.3). Prayer meeting and family fellowship is 7 o’clock Wednesday evenings. Youth meetings are 7 p.m. Thursdays. There will be a social for the older adults 7 p.m. Saturday. March 1. The public is invited to services and activities.
