meter and 5.000 meter speed skating races to the frolicking, winning combination of the U S hockey team as they progressed through a series of wins, plus the thrills and spills of downhill skiing - it has been a real spectacular from what I hear, it is a lot more pleasurable watching it on television than trying to be an actual spectator The one big let down was the fact that Tye and Handy could not perform in tlx* figure skating combinations that they were favored to win - hopefully they’ll be able to compete in the future So far. that has been the only flaw in tlx* near perfect show. Well, we didn't have to worry about honoring Teresa because she honored us all by her stage presense, and her scene with Master of ceremonies Martin Kennedy and Melba Harris was beautiful to
behold.

Martin Kennedy and Dennis Hobson, of "Kojak" fame, at the request of Jim Dunbar, had Bill and I come to the center stage and present the $2,000 that Dancers Two-under the tutelage of Nancy Gibson and Suze Burns — raised We had some unusual experience in the Empire City, including our ride through the 1 jncoln tunnel, which was a first for Terese. and our view of tlx* New York skyline. But the sight of tlx* majestic jets landing at Newark airport, and our ride through the gafj processing fields in the Hackensack meadows made it all worthwhile. As we bid New York goodbye, we all made a silenl wish that we could do il over again next year ON THE fishing scene, little is happening. High winds and rough seas have made the ocean perilous for even the hig trawlers '"And draggers that work for commerica I catches Spring is beginning to be felt though, and it won’t tx* long before we’ll be getting ready for an assault on mackerel, and drum, and weakfish, and blues. lml\ Hesington of the Villas left Saturday for a trip to Florida, and then on to South Carolina where he is to be hosted by Hob Pond, of “Striper” magazine, in his quest to catch his first striper ever I wrote of Andy's s ory kist spring, and his lengthy search for a big rockfish.
