FISHING CREEK Famed race car driver Mario Andretti paid a visit to t’he Breakwater Plaza shdpping center last Wednesday His appearance was low key but even without fanfare, he and his small entourage were soon surrounded and followed from store to store by a knot of fans and autograph seekers. "I watch you all the time,'' one admiring adult told the Indianapolis 500 winner, the middle-age fan adding quickly, "Well, really. I only see your car." IN ADDITION to being the 1969 Indy winner, Mr. Andretti is a three-time American Autombile Assn. National Champion, was a four-time winner in the 1977 Grand Prix for formula one cars and was the 1967 Daytona 500 winner. With Mr. Andretti for the tour of the plaza was his business partner and coowner of the center John Ciccarone. Even as they went through the various stores meeting the shop owners or managers, tenants were still moving

THE STURDY Savings and l.oan office, on the northwest comer and the third in the line of storefronts in the new plaza, hadn't opened as of last week. But next store, Ralph Mogavero's Salon 21 beauty salon was open and a couple of patrons were talking about Mr. Andretti’s visit as they waited to be worked on. Next to Mogavero's along the front of the plaza is Cape TV and Electronics which, like the savings and loan, hadn’t moved in for business yet. Next, at Brother’s Pizza, a 16 ft. long hoagie and a giant pizza were readied for the guest of honor to arrive. A. dozen or so customers were eating their lunch. MR. ANDRETTI entered

John Rotondi’s pizzeria after leaving George and Gladys Keller's Shop V Bag supermarket which also houses KHIar's Liquor Store. The shop on the other side of the liquor

store is vacant.

Rich Hellings’ new Rite Aid pharmacy and store is the second biggest retail establishment in the shopping center, and next

to it. at the end of the storefronts facing Bayshore Rd.. is Chris’ Hallmark Shop, where Jpan Carlson was on hand as Mr. Andretti started his tour of the other shops. Amid the cards and gifts in Chris' was a special table for the occasion. On it were autographed pictures qf one of the world's greatest
