CAPE MAY - An end to the "era of cronyism" was. called for during a recent gathering at the Community Center here by the three city council candidates in the May 13 election sponsored by the Coalition of Concerned Cape May Citizens. Candidates Charles Bernard. Theodore Kazlow and Granville "Pete" Stiles said they were . dedicated "to a return to open, honest, efficient government." REFERRING TO "serious problems that the Police Department is suffering," candidate Kazlow said they were caused by "cut-backs, intimidations, reprisals and harassment by city

officials.

council."
