Mayer, R.N., assistant administrator of Shore Memorial Hospital, ha been selected to represent the State of New Jersey in an official Goodwill People-to-People International mission to Sweden, Hungary, Poland and England this summer. One of only 38 nursing administrators in the United States chosen by the American Society for

Nursipg Service Administrator! (ASNSA) to Join the delegation, Mrs. Mayer was notified of her choice by Janine A. Swent, R.N., society director of ASNSA. She said the Ocean City women was selected for-^the honor because of her standing. her background and proven

leadership.

The Goodwill People to People Travel Program, founded /by President Dwight Eisenhower, was conceived to foster better understanding between people of the world in a non-political, mm-partisan effort which is completely free of government control

or financing.

The delegation which includes Mrs. Mayer will meet people from all phases of their common profession, and special briefing meetings are planned at American embassies in each of the scheduled countries which have U.S. diplomatic posts. The group will depart from New York on June 28.
