College Lucas who has been coaching the JV Basketball team, served as Bati’ assistant in getUng soccer started here, and now has a chance to continue the fine record set by Coach Batz. Phil Heck will continue to coach the JVs. ••• THE CAPE MAY COUNTY Softball Teams didn't fare too well in the Galloway Township Tournament last weekend but they blame it on the weather. "You can’t play good softball in the rain,” says Mike Mcl<aaghHn of the Ugly Muggers. The Coast Guard Bears were the only survivors of last weekend’s games, with Ricks of Rio Grande, Burke Motors, Laws Printing, Parkway Exxon and the Ugly Mug all falling by the wayside. THE CAPE MAY Comity League got underway this week with six games, continuing May 7 and five on May 9. The strongest teams look like Laws Printing, Coast Guard. Borko's and the Ugly Mag.
