OC Does It Again to Middle

Middle Twp potted a 5*0 victory in a make-up game May 2 despite a fine effort by two of Wildwood’s singles players. Orton Hteks breezed by Lionel Johnson 6-1, 6-0 in the first singles event. Ortoff'remains undefeated in league play. In the second singles, Lance Harrison overcame some early frustrations to beat Charles Gershman in three sets. Lance dropped the second set. but rebounded to outlast Gershman in 6

tough third set. Eric Stone made his singler. debut an impressive one. taking hardhitting and hard-serving Ingo Hcomer to a three set victory for Middle. Eric relied on steady, well ' placed ground strokes to outdo the towering Heumer First doubles Scott Bond and Mi Hon Walker combined for an easy victory of Jim Kimball and Frank Kalafski. Scott and Milton dominated both service and net.

Second doubles.
