Wllliatn McAlerr, winner of the District’s Voice of Democracy contest, was presented a $100 savings bond and certificate. An Ocean City High School student, he has received similiar honors from the Ocean City VFW Post. McAJeer, who recently joined the Jersey Cape unit of the N.J. National Guard, read his award winning essay. He was joined as guests by his parents at the installation ceremony.
