. AVALON — Borough officials report a number of illegal yard sales with the advent of spring and remind residents that a $2 permit is necessary before l such sales can begin. Permits must be secured at least five days before the sale, and may be obtained at the borough clerk's office in borough hall, 3100 Dune Dr. No yard sale signs may be posted off the property, and only two sales a year, six month apart, are allowed.
