Ruth Wisher has been named Senior of the Year by the Chamber of Commerce, Chamber presiisidcnt Glenn Townley . presented her with a silver plaque for her extraordinary activities over the years as a member of the borough's seniors’

organization.

Mrs. Fisher and her husband. Eugene, have lived here for the past six years. They moved from Haddon Township in 1974, but have vacationed in the borough since 1954. They are the parents of two daughters and one son and have five grandchildren. As chairlady of the Tours and Travel Committee of the seniors. Mrs. Fisher has arranged trips to Brinckman’s in the Catskills, Christmas shows in New York. Philadelphia Ice Follies, a bicentennial tour of Philadelphia, dinner theatre shows at Greenwich Theatre, the Gateway and* couple of trips to the '76 House. She planned trips to Resorts International, boat trips down the bay and has been a hostess for many of the | * seniors’ parties and park

picnics.

In addition to her activities as a senior member, Mrs. Fisher is a member of St. Mary's ECW and corresponding secretary for the church.
