SEA ISLE CITY - Sarah K Abrams, a resident of this community and a 1976 graduate of Ocean City High School. was graduated from Boston University College of Liberal Arts M^y 18 She

received the bachelor of arts degree in economics magna cum laude. Ms Abrams will begin law school either in September 1980 or 1981 She was chosen the recipient of the Rabbi

Samuel J. Abrams Scholarship, an annual scholarship awarded to the student who has done the most to advance the cause of better understanding among fellow students. In addition, she received the Scarlet Key Award presented by Boston University's General Alumni Association in recognition of exceptional achievement and service in student activities and organizations. Last year Ms. Abrams was one of 16 students in the University of 14,000 to receive the Harold C. Case Scholarship • which is • granted to those excelling in scholarship, leadership and service to the university. She has served as president of the College of Liberal Arts Dean's Hosts, a select group of up perclassmen who provide community service to the college. In addition, she held the office of treasurer in both Oie Undergraduate Economics Association and Mortar Board, a national honor and service society. Ms. Abrams also served as one of two student representatives to the College of Liberal Arts/Graduate School • Alumni Board of Directors. Skimmer Weekend Art Show Slated SEA ISLE CITY-The annual Skimmer Weekend Art Show will be held on the grounds of city hall here June 21. Many prizes will be awarded including a cash t>rizc for. first placo in show, the City of Sea Isle City will negotiate with the prize winning painting for purchase to decorate one of the city building. Acardi in recognition of the outstanding leadership qualities he has oxhibited since becoming Company commander in March 1978. Capt. Accardi began his military career as a private in the local National Giferd unit in 1971. He received his basic field artillery training at Fort Sill.Okla He attended the New .Jersey Military Academy where he received his commission as a second lieutenant and was assigned as Am muni lion officeK in Battery • /U v 6lh Bn. 112th Field Artillery. Accardi was graduated from Wildui.od High School in ti*. I tic received a master degree in mathematics from Gtassboro Slate College in 1976. and he is currently employed as teacher at Audubon High School. He has received the New Jersey Nrtional Guard Medal of Merit, and the Armed* Forces Achievement Medal. Capt. Accardi and his wife .loon live in Sewell.
