of Funeral and Memorial Society The delay will enable directors of the society planning to attend the conference June 18-21 at Bryn Mawr. Pa. College, to report on it in person to the members With some 400 member families, nearly all living in Cape May County, the Memorial Society of South Jersey is one of the youngest and smallest of the 160 memorial societies in the national association, whose total membership is over 750,000 families. A MEMORIAL society helps members plan for their own final rites, to relieve survivors of having to mAe painful decisions at a difficult time. It promotes simplicity and economy in the disposal of remains and supports the growing trend toward memorial instead of furieral services. It also provides members with facts to aid them in deciding about cremation organs or bodies, or the making of a "living will. The several other services include annpal reports on agreements negotiated with cooperating morticians for basic services at reasonable rates.
