COURT HOUSE - The County Park is looking for clubs and organizations to participate in the August Fair and earn some money for themselves and the
park zoo.
The fair will be the weekend of August 16-17 and will feature entertainment, gamps,
refreshments, shows, attractions, rides and displays, etc. ANY GROUP wishing to help may make arrangements to sponsor a carnival booth, cake sale, raffle, or other moneymaker. After expenses, the profits would be split with
the pari.

space.
THERE ARE also opportunities to contribute by signing up as vendors,
taking ads in the souvenir prpgram book or donating talent for one of many performances. "If nothing else, why not bake a cake or some
cookies for the park to sell at the fair?" Mr Kehr mentioned. The entire event is being presented by the Cape May County Park Commission to gain financial support for the children's zoo

Roadway Name Would Honor Late Merchant TRENTON - Acting unanimously, the New Jersey Assembly has honored the late Ocean City merchant, Howard S. Stainton, by bestowing his name to a main traffic artery there, the causeway between Ocean City and Somers Point. The new designation, Howard S. Stainton Memorial Causeway, was contained in an Assembly Joint Resolution sponsored by Cape May-IXimberland Assemblymen James Hurley and Joseph, Chinnici. "The suggestion to honor Mr Stainton in this way came from a senior citizen group in Ocean Gty," Hurley said "We are plcoscd that the Assembly has agreed end now will ask Senator Cafiero to urge the Senate to act favorable also." Mr Stainton, whose department store has been a mercantile landmark for two generations, died last June at an advanced age.

same time, Mrs. Hevener added. The Cape May County Park Commission has agreed to maintain the cemetery grounds but all arrangements for burial must be made through the Veterans Bureau. Information may be dbtained by visiting the office or by calling at 886-2762.
