AVALON - The Golden Inn here was the site of the Annual Installation and Awards Tea of the Burdette Tomlin Memorial Auxiliary, with Ann Beatty, presiding as the installing
officer.
New officers seated included president Gloria Conroy, first vide president Jan Hartin; second vice president Vecchi Seagraves, corresponding secretary Ruth Wlke; treasurer Peg Colson; financial secretary Ethel Griffin, and trustees Marion Zuch, Ann Bulty and Ida Loche. NEW BRANCH prcsi dents who will guide the activities of the local branches include Eileen Marinakis, Bayberry Twigs; Rose Gottman, Lower Township; Florence Ahlers, Greater Wildwoods, and Ruth Wike of
Middle Township. Jean Somers, assisted by Betty Chinn, presented the awards recognizing the hours of service given by the teenage Candy Strippers. Receiving awards

Caps for 100 hours: Nancy Baglivo, Wanda Feliciano, Angle Garrison, Angela Johnson, and Karen Lynam. Bar for 150 hours: Nancy Baglivo, Betsy Cranmer and Ellen Fuscellaro. MIDDLE TWP - A gel acquainted tea for prospective members will be served 2 to 4 p.m. June 22 at the Wetland Inst, on Stone Harbor Blvd. by the Cape May County Retired Educators Assn. Organized in 1962, the county group has been active in securing legislation affecting pensions and other matters importance to the welfare of teachers who are no longer actively employed.
