VILLAS - The fifth annual Delaware Bay Drumfish Derby sponsored by the Lower Towpship Chamber of Commerce has concluded, and for the first time in its history (which dates to 1956) there is a tie for the grand prize. David Leininger of Rio Grande and David Lgighty of Carneys Point will share the limelight as this year’s top winners, and there’s quite a coincidence about the whole thing. Both winners are Davids and each lives in the 120block, and they caught their winning "humpbacks” the same week, three days apart, and had them weighed in on the same scales . — at Joe Rodia’s in Rio Grande.
