Lecture On Cape’s Wildlife
MIDDLE TWP - The Wetlands Institute will present Cape May County Wildlife, Part 11,8:15 p.m. June 28 at the Wetlands Institute on Stone Harbor Blvd. This slide-illustrated talk might better be called "Squiggley Wigglies and Things That Go Bump in the Night" as it will feature the sights and sounds of the little wild creatures that make their home on the Jersey Cape — the small mammals, frogs, salamanders and nighttime creatures of the area. Joan Galli will discuss the fascinating behavior of
these creatures and provide clues on how to watch them in thd wild. Children especially will enjoy an opportunity to view some of the live animals that will accompany Ms. Galli’s
presentation.
A nongame wildlife specialist with the New Jersey Division of Fish, Game and Shell fisheries, Ms. Galli is a member of the Board of Trustees of The Wetlands Institute and co-author of a recently released book on the wildlife of Cape- May
County.
