Big Drum Has Wait

5 New Slate Records For Saltwater Fish

TRENTON — Five new Hate record 1 saltwater sport ftoh have been recognized by the N J Div of Rah, Game, and Wildlife, including a couple caught off the

Jersey Cape

The five new records placed on the list

include:

A greater Aaaberjadi weighing 39 pounds caught by Russell M, Smith off Wildwood on June 30, lf79; An Atlantic Croaker weighing 4 pounds and 3 ounces caught by Charles Kricher in the Delaware Bay on August 8,1979;

A bluefin Tana weighing 966 pounds and 8 ounces caught by Michael H. For michella off Belmar on November 5,1979; A little Tunny weighing 24 pounds and 15 ounces caught by Mark A. Niemczyk off

Sea Bright on October 2,1977.

Whea the Division Gets around to including this year's catches, they will be considering the lOGft lb. black drum caught by John Tumbelty at 14 ft. light in Delaware Bay in May. His catch betters by more than 10 lbs. the current record

established 36 years ago

A blue Marlin weighing 672 pounds and 12 ounces caught by Donald Kline off

Manasquan on August 5,1979;

This year’s fair will salute the 100th anniversary of the N. J. Agricultural Experiment Station, and there will be , numbrous events and activities during the three-day-fair. It will be at the 4-H fairgrounds in Dennisville Rd., northwest of the county seat. Included in this year's fair are events from animal auctions to wildlif^demons(rations and offerings in between (like a frog jumping and tur.tie racing contest). v
