Township near Cape May Point. The selection of a site for treatment plant In the Wildwoods-Lower Region will be made at the July 16 MUA meeting, Vinci also announced. Four sites were presented at! the May 22 public hearing. Ihey included one in Middle Township near Rio Grande Avenue and Shaw Island, between Wildwood Crest and Shawcrest. A recurrence of a soil r movement problem at the construction site of the Ocean City Region plant was related by project manager, Dan Kelly of, Pandullo Quirk Associates. "This is an isolated condition that nobody can explain brought on by the movement of organic material causing upward pressure on two of the pile caps." Kelly explained. "The contractor is excavating material adjacent to the problem area to relieve the soil pressure and then will correct the situation. There will be a change order requested because this type of thing couldn’t be anticipated," Kelly said.
