STONE HARBOR - The borough's llth Annual Art Show and Sale will be all day Saturday. August 2. Directed by the widely known local artist Norma Betz, the exhibition is expected again to attract many nationally-known artists. an Increase of 25 percent over previous years, and the number of exhibit spots in the tent are nearly all taken. Works from late entries are placed outside the tent on A-frames. Prizes and honorable mention ribbons will be presented by Mayor James Wood at the end of the day to winners and runner-ups in Acrylics, Oils and Watercolor* Registration forms to enter the show are available at the Borough Clerk's office at 95th and 2nd Ave. Admission to the show is free to the general public. Hubert Fitzgerald whose paintings have been exhibited nationally and internationally. Mrs. Betz also reported that requests to enter the show are “pouring in", and that every indication is that the record of 160 entries in last year’s show will be exceeded.
