Boro Sets Beach Run AVALON — The borough has scheduled a 5-mile evenings beach run for July 26 but participants are urged to register by July 21 at the Community Hall, 3lst St. and the beach. “We are trying to schedule different events that will appeal to the interests of our residents and vacationers", according to Recreation Director David Haberte. "The purpose of sign-ups for the activities is to determine how much interest there is since we must have personnel on hand to supervise all the events we schedule."
