schedules
The additional trip leaves from here at S:30 p m and from Lewes, Del at 10:30p.m.
The additional Friday and Sunday trips will continue thru Aug. 31 and if they’re found to be popular, will' be added to > the Saturday schedule as well.

Joseph Guy of 2706 Ocean Dr. Mr. Guy la M and ha* been raising Ms beautiful hydrangeas for 30years. When the committee asked Mm how he raised such large blossoms, Mr. Guy replied, "We do, everything big in Avalon became we have such a big nutrias mayor* HE WAS presented an e ngraved silver bowl by the Avalon Hydrangea Committee and a silver plate from the Sweepstake
Committee.
Mayor Ellsworth Armacost also received a silver plate engraved with the winners from previous years. This award will be on display in the mayor’s office for the year. In 1978, Dr. A Mrs. John La veil Jr of Avalon won the award. Should Avalon win it a third time, the plate will remain in the borough. DURING THE recent Hydrangea Trail judging by Marjorie Jones, Shirley Wiesenbaugh and Alice Marvel, local residents placed in categories which included Best Bush, Best Garden, Best Red Bush, Best Small Home and Best
Large Home.
