To Aid Deborah Hospital

AVALON - Mrs. Jean Glacier and Councilwoman Grace Keen have teamed up again with the help of the Borough to collect aluminum cans for

recycling.

Funds collected from the sale of the metal will go to the Deborah Hospital

“We feel that Deborah Hospital provides so many services to heart and lung patients each year that we would like an ongoing project to help tjiis foundation,'’ commented Mrs.

"It is important that residents deposit only aluminum cans in the barrels so designated at the 13th St. recycling sight,” Councilwoman Keen emphasized. "The barrels

child.

According to the FSO comparison report, the tunafish sandwich has significantly more protein. Vitamin B-12, and Vitamin C than a hotdog sandwich.

COMPARED WERE a 2 oz. hotdog on bun with mustard; 3 oz. hamburger on bun with catsup, 3 oz. American cheese on white bread with maponaise; 8 oz. tuna on white bread with mayonaise; and 2 tbsp. peanut butter on

white bread.

The comparison also reportedly showed the tuna sandwich provided slightly more Vitamin B-45 than the hamburger (the next closest in the comparison), and almost as much Iron as

the hamburger.

Calorie-wise, the tuna sandwich came in fourth out of the fWe with 402 calories compared to a range of from 301 (hotdogs) to 554 (cheese sandwich).
