ED ZABERER’S, AN INSTITUTION IN THE WORLD OF FINE DINING.

ANGLESEA, NEW JERSEY ... For the 25th straight year in a row the “Host of the Coast" Ed Zaberer has opened for dining delight oncg again. Ed Zaberer’s famous Anglesea Inn originally opened its’ doors back in 1955, at that time he employed 4 waitresses and a small kitchen staff. Now at the present time he employs almost 350 people to operate his business, for the efficiency that so many tens of thousands of seasonal custbmers require. Ed Zaberer presently lists on his payroll more personnel than are employed in the city where he is located. What are some of the reasons why people return ?fear after year to this fabulous seashore dining institution? Two of the most important are courtesy and service. This is something that does not happen accidently. Ed Zaberer and his beautiful wife, -Ayne, hold classes weekly. These classes are conducted with all the employees that come in contact with the public, 'whether they be junior hostesses, busboys, waitresses or waiters. Each one of Ed’s personnel are given classes in courtesy, with the

emphasis on attentiveness to the needs and desires of each and every customer that passes through Ed Zaberer’s front door. One never forgets the Old World, Tiffany and Diamond Jim Brady atmosphere that prevails throughout this beautiful institutien. « One glance at the menu offered by Zaberer and it is no surprise to find out the staggering amounts * of food that must be purchased throughout the season. During the height of the season, a freight car of Idaho potatoes will last only a little over a week. Prime ribs are ordered thru one of the largest packing houses in the mid-west, usually on an average of 90,000 pounds at a time. Seafood is brought in fresh daily from the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Lobster also finds its way to Zaberer’s daily from Boston, 300 pounds of lump crabmeat, 1,400 capon breasts, over 1,500 pounds of prime beef, to name just a few statistics, are served daily at dinner. While you are visiting the shore be sure to stop in for the treat of your life that will give you memories to carry forever - visit Ed Zaberer s Anglesea Inn. advertisement
