RIO GRANDE - Cape Human Resourcro/CETA has announced the development of a special program to provide counseling and referral services for women in Cape May County. Called Women in Touch, the program is scheduled to begin operation early in October to proyide women with an opportunity to develop career direction and utilize available resources to enhance their employability. “Many women face a multitude of problems ranging from child care needs to lack of education,
experience and selfconfidence when seeking employment. It is these types of problems the program will be helping women overcome, 1 ' noted program coordinator Patti Sutton. “Current plans call for the development of an ongoing system of workshops, group activities, and special projects directed at issues affecting women,” she added. Cancer Society has announced it reached its 1980 Crusade Goal of $65,000 Aug. 1 and Is on its way over the top before the books close on the 30th.
