Art Draws Crowds

STONE HARBOR-Hund reds of art lovers many ol them, buyers, flocked to the borough's 11th. annual art show recently in the big tent at the athletic field. Show director Norma Betz said so many artists . entered the shov> this year XJhat the tent wasn’t big enough, extra "A’' frames had to be set up outside. Sales were brisk all day, she said, pointing out that before her assistants, had set up their sales ertmter, one gentleman purchased a painting for $950. Many paintings were sold in various price ranges up to

$1,800.

According to Ms. Betz, the judges felt it was one of the hardest shows to select winners because the quality of,the artists was so

good.
