MAC Sets FaJl Schedule

CAPE MAY - The September schedule of entertaining tour* in this National Historic Landmark city has been announced by the MidAtlantic Center for the Arts. The Phyalck Houae/Victorian Museum, 1048 Washington St. will be open to visitors every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. This extensive collection of 19th Century furniture, art, tools, costumes and artifacts will be on view from noon to 3:30 on these days during September. ♦ Walking Tours of the Historic District will start at the Information Booth on the Mall at Ocean St. at 10 a m. on Wednesdays and Sundays. Advance tickets aren’t necessary for this trip through Cape May’s history, architecture and gossip. Trolley rides, a quick

Senior Citiseits Club Resuming CAPE MAY - The Cape May Senior Citizens Chib will resume monthly meetings 7:30 p.m. Sept. 9 in Victorian Towers. Residents of Cape May, West Cape May, and Cape May Point are welcome to join this dub, which meets on the second Tuesday night of each month.

On Honor* List FLOftHAM PARK - Timothy Macatee of Cape May has been named to the Honors List at Fairleigh Dickinson University, Florham-Madison, for the qring 1900 semester. The Homors List is accorded students who have earned a grade point average of 3.5 or better on the University's 4.0 system.

Bank Merger LINWOOD - Main Bank of Atlantic County has announced plans to mergl its five offices with Continental Bank of New Jersey pending approval by stockholders of both banks and regulatory authorities. A joint announcement rif a merger agreement /in principle was made by Frank A. Gauvry, chairman of the Board of Continental Bank, from offices located in Laurel Springs; and Jerome S. Goodman, chairman of the Board of Mainland Bank. Mr. Gauvry is former mayor of Cape May. The combined bank will have assets of between 365 million and 370 million. Saturday Morning Classes Set VINELAND - Fall weekends can include time for learning with the seven credit courses Cumberland County College is offering on Saturday mornings in the fields of busiqpss, foreign languages, humanities, mathematics, and social and behavioral sciences. Open registration is Sept. 4 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sept. 5 from 9 until noon. Business courses offered on Saturday mornings will be Accounting Principles I, 8 to 11:55 a m. and Small Business Management 8:30 toll:25a.m. Intermediate Spanish is scheduled from 9 to 11:50 a.m. Saturday morning Humanities courses will be English Composition and Musk Appreciation, both from 9 to 11:55 a.m. Introduction to College Mathematics and General Psychology are both scheduled from 9 to 11:55 a.m. . One noncredit class, Eatroductlon tu Solar Heating Systems, will also meet on Saturdays. This course will meet from 9 til noon for five Saturdays, beginning Sept . 20.
