Managing Campground COURT HOUSE - Jay and Marjorie Otto have been named managing directors of Hideaway Beach Campground. Both college-trained in education, Mr. Otto having a Master In Education degree from the University of Guam and Mrs. Otto having a Bach?'or of Arts degree from Windham College in Vermont. The Ottos are longtime campers and experienced in campground management. Jay completed training in a leading campground management school and then managed four large campgrounds for a major campground chain. Retires After 32 Years With

I Beginning I his governI ment service 1 with a six- • l year hitch in I the Navy as a HEDGE member of the North Atlantic Patrol in Okinawa during World War II, Mr. Hedge started at TRACEN in 1964 when he was assigned to maintain the 50 units of g-<vemmenf housing. In 1960 he was transferred to trouble-shooting throughout the center, particularly in air conditioning and refrigeration. He received his retirement certificate from Cmdr Ed McGuire, chief of Facilities Engineering Div. at the center, during recent ceremonies. Boro Eyes Bulkheading
Private Lot AVALON - There was further discussion during the Sept. 4 Countil work session oh restrictions on Lot 53, Block 5.04 owned by Walter E.Roetus Jr. Borough officials feel that Dr. Roeturs should bulkhead his land because they allege that waves crashing ir on his waterfront lot are depositing sand and pebbles on adjacent properties; worse, they fear salt water innitration and corroding the borbugh sewage system Dr. Roehuts indicates he doesn’t want to pay for the total cost of bulkheading but will go ahead with it If he and the borough can rEach a mutually agreeable financial arrangement.
