MOST EYES werf skyward during the N.J. Audubon Society’s annual Fall Nature Weekend, hosted this year by the Cape May Bird Observatory at Cape May Point The program included nature walks, butterfly tagging. Interroastal boat-trip and of course, bird watching here at the bane of the lighthouse.

Meeting To Air Problems

SEA ISLE CITY - Mayor Dominic C. Haifa has called for a town meeting for all residents at 8 p m Thursday. Oct 23. Public School auditorium. Kaffa said he will deliver a “State of the City" message at the beginning of’the open meeting, citing the progress the city has made in recent years. The meeting will then be opened for public discussion on any problems facing the city COMMISSIONERS William Kehner and Andrew Bednarek will go on the platfdrm with Raffa to answer any questions concerning their individual departments “With an open Town Meeting, we can bring our problems into focus and seek answers.“ Raffa said, •WE HOPE THAT the people of the city will turn out in great numbers, not

only with questions and problems, with ideas and suggestions on how the city can cope with them." One of the topics to be discussed will be the proposed Charter Change questjon that will go before the voters in November. Raffa said many persons in the city are “in the dark” about the proposed change, and he, with Kehner and Bednarek, would answer citizens' questions on the issue. Raffa has invited Charter Study ieader Jack Gibson U) share the platform to aid in answering the questions "WE HOPE TO have mayors, city officials and civic leaders of other communities who have gone through a change in government al the Town Meeting, so that they might share with us some of the experiences they had, the mayor continued.
