Kiwanians Will Install Veldhoven
County Legion Installs

Past International Kiwanis President Nick Swain, a former Cape May Kiwanis president and an honorary member, will install Robert Smeltzer as
immediate past president. GORDON WILL challenge the Cape May Kiwanis Club to retain its number one position in Division One and its top honors in the states. He will install Dennis Kelly as first vice president. Donald Dodson as second vice president and Veldhoven as president. The Cape May Club has received top honors for establishing an enviable record of inter-club visits, under the leadership of Herman Harmon. Twenty new members have been received during 1980, bringing the club’s membership total to 62. Luncheon Set For Hospital AVALON Tickets are now available for the annual Fall luncheon for the benefit of Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital from 11:30 a m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday. Oct 15 at Henny's Driftwood Dining Room in Stone Harbor. The event is sponsored by the Stone Harbor-Avalon branch of the auxiliary. Mrs. Jayne Reddie is luncheon chairwoman. STONE HARBOR - The October meeting of the Garden Club will be 10 a .m. Columbus Day Monday at the firehouse. The program will feature a presentation of Christmas miniatures demonstrated by Mrs. Carlyle ’■Jinx" Barton of the Baltimore Garden Club. A large turnout is expected as her program on miniature flower arranging of last year is well remembered. There are still' a few reservations available for the Oct. 21 bus trip to Winterthur.
