The summer season was successful for county residents who took advantage of the "Lesm-to-Swim" programs held at the Von Savage Memorial Pool, 8800 New Jersey

According to Clare K. Walsh, pool director, over 200 children and adults participated in the American Red Cross swimming courses ranging from Beginners thnx«h advanced lifesaving. ALL ELIGIBLE persons interested in becoming certified lifeguards for next season are urged to call the pool now to register for future classes. The beginners, advanced beginners, intermediates and swimmer’s program will also be starting in the very near future. THIS PAST season an arts and crafts class and an adult's exercise class were also offered. The Adult Exercise Class will be a permanent part of the ,, activities at the pool. A new session of the class will begin in October. The instructor will be Connie Reich, formerly associated with the Y.W.C.A. and the Vogue Figure Salon in Harrisburg, Pa.
