VILLAS - New afflcera at the local chapter of the National Association of Retired Federal Employes were installed at a recent meeting at the Millman Center here. Vincent Vannoni. senior district officer for South Jersey, was the installing officer. John DeFillipo, legislative chairman, reported the signing of 13 new members and reported on the status of the "Look Back" bill which would permit retirees, before its signing, to receive a 7.7 per cent cost; of living allowance for September. A DRAWING was held Seniors started the day out with a cold damp forecast, some 30 members of the Seniors boarded the Capt. Cramer sightseer and sailed to Cape May for a four-hour cruise including a visit to all the Harbor basins. After the boat left the dock the weather cleared and the sun came out to delight the sailing Seniors. All took box lunches and had a wonderful time. Tickets went on sale for the annual Halloween party. Mrs. Matt Woolery will again be chairlady, and a Roaring 20’s show is planned at the American Legion Hall, starting at 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31.
