Highway Authority to provide additional commuter parking facilities on or adjacent to the Garden State Parkway In Cape May County. In a letter to Joaeph Carragher, director o< the Highway authority, Evans stated the results ol a personal survey he took at 9 a.m. Oct. 9. THE SURVEY WAS taken at Parkway Ramp 25, which serves ihe Upper Township, Ocean City area. There were 31 cars parked on Rooeevelt Boulevard beneath the parkway overpass. Evans said that the parkway owns considerable land near the on and off ramps which could be uwd for commuter parking. “Commuter parking areas that are paved, safe and convenient are a must In these times of changing lifestyles. This is Just one way we can encourage and help our residents In their quest to save energy." Evans said.
Charges MUA With Poor Management COURT HOUSE - Democratic Freeholder Candidate Charles Town has charged the Cape May County Municipal Utilities Authority with misleading the public with incorrect information and mishandling the Ocean City project with poor management. Town, himself a one-time employee of the MUA’s engineering consulting firm Pandullo Quirk Associates, said "obviously the two most recent foulups, the line breaks Tuesday and the excavation destruction this past summer, show that someone is not doing their
