Statistics released by the Delaware River and Bay Authority indicate that a sizeable number are doing just that. DURfNG SEPTEMBER ferry traffic increased by 2,790 vehicles and 7,667 passengers over the same month last year. In the same period, traffic on the Memorial Bridge wqs down 20,839 vehicles r rom last year. The decrease amounted to 1.4 per cent. FERRY TRAFFIC registered a healthy 11.32 per cent increase in

vehicles and 10.8 per cent for passengers. For the 12-month period ended Sept. SO, traffic on the ferry was up 14.82 per cent for vehicles and 16.42 per cent for passengers. Bridge traffic for the period, 17,629,928, was down by .33 per cent.
