FRC Chairman Frank Nero announced the appointment of 24 New Jersey elected officials, mayors, county executives, and state legislators, including Sea Isle City Mayor Dominic C. Raffa. to an Intergovernmental Advisory Group. THE FRC IS a coordinating body charged by the White House with improving intergovernmental relations and with responding to problems which involve various federal departments and agencies. Raffa has been a member of the Sea Isle City Board of Commissioners since 1961. and been mayor since 1973. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the New Jersey Travel and Resort Association and a founding member of the Jersey Conference of Mayors, Raffa is also a member of a five-man committee charge with liaison work with the state government to promote tourism and travel In New

Jersey.

He was also trustee at the Avalon United Methodist Church, and currently serves in that capacity at the Sea Isle City Methodist Church. HE IS A GRADUATE of Temple University, and was a project engineer at Pennsylvania Bell Telephone Co. for 15 years prior to entering real estate full time. Kerr was in the submarine service during World War II. He has a wife, six children and two grandchildren and resides in Avalon. Thompson Heads Bankers Meeting

Esther Thompson, assistant vice president at Marine National Bank, presided over a meeting of the national Association of Bank Women Oct. 14. at the Millville Motor Lodge. The evening’s events consisted of a business

meeting with a panel discussion, where all members participated. Membership in the association is open to women who hold managerial and official pnsitioas.
