Tiger Tennis Improves
By David Weinberg The Lower Cape May Tennis Team raised their record co 3-7 as they captured two victories over Bridgeton and Wildwood last week. The Capers scored victories in all five of their matches against Bridgeton, scoring a W) win. Number one singles player Liz Kelly defeated Usa Mcdowell. 6-4, 6-4. Kim Shields scored the second victory with a 6-4,6-2 victory over Brenda Mills. Janet Williams captured the final singles victory with a 6-1, 6-1 win over Kelly Boulker. BOTH DOUBLES teams also emerged victorious for Lower Cape. Lisa Hemingway and Kerry Axelson grabbed a 6-4, 7-5 Chamer Hits
win, while Jane Endrekln and Becky Chelius completed the shut-out with a 62, 2-6. 6-3 win over Jennifer Sherman and Jackie Briggs. ..After spotUng Wildwood a 2-0 lead, the Capers rallied to win the last three matches for a 3-2 victory. Elizabeth Kelly started the rally with a 6-1, 6-2 victory over the Warriors Kathy Robinson. After Williams and Hemingway captured the second win, Kerry Axelson and Jane Endrekln sealed the comeback with a 6-4, 6-2 victory over Tag Miller and Beth Bradway. This week, the Capers were scheduled to play a home match against Middle yesterday and a home match against Oakrest today.

STONE HARBOR — Vote "No" on the bond issue in the amount of $145 million for projects of the Dept, of Environmental Protection on Election Day, the local Chamber of Commerce urges. At its meeting Oct. 20 the chamber passed a resolutiofi opposing the "blank Check" bond issue. The reason, said the chairman of the committee for Civic Responsiblity, R. Jack Fitzpatrick, that "the passage of this bond issue would be irresponsible, irrational and dangerous action. It is ji»t further evidence of the arrogant and disdainful attitude of those In charge of this department."
