The reason behind Judge Philip Gruccio’s longawaited decision was not initial known, but the state had argued last summer that regardless of an institution's religious af* filiation, minimal standards must be met as a prerequisite to granUng baccaluareate degrees. College head Dr. Carl Mclntire has long held that the state license requirement is an infringment of the separation of church and state and that since the college was directly affiliated with his Bible Presbyterian Ch»'rch. licensing wasn’t Constitutional or necessary.
