opinions and ambitions. The program gives high school senior girls a chance for college education. Locally, the top award is a $500 scholarship donated by the Cape May Kiwanis Club. Other awards are a $300 scholarship by Axelsson and Johnson Seafood; $200 by the municipality of Ocean City, and a $150 scholarship by Citizens United Bank. This year for the first time a $150 scholarship donated by Xi Beta Pi Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi will be given for the most outstanding talent. « CONTESTANTS WILL be judged on five categories: scholastic achievement, judges’ interview, poise and appearance. youth fitness and creative and performing arts.

Local winners advance to state competition and all state titlists travel to Mobile, Ala., for the national finals in April. For the past six years the finals have been telecast over a national network.
