TRENTON - A conviction carrying fines totalling $325 for violations of the State Child Labor Law has been handed down against the City of Wild-

wood.

Details of the prosecution were issued by John J. Horn, commissioner of the state Department of Labor and Industry. HORN STATED that Judge Edwin Bradway accepted a guilty plea to the charges Nov. 5 in North Wildwood Municipal Court and assessed the firm $25 on each of 13 Counts. Charges against the city included employment of three minors under the age of 18 without an employment certificate, employment of three minors under the age of 18 more than six consecutive days in any one week (up to 13 consecutive days), and employment of seven minors under the age of 16 in, about, or in connection with power driven machinery.

from an investigation conducted by the Department's Division of Workplace Standards in response to the accidental death of a 15-year-old employee of the city. Deputy Attorney General Ross Begelmen presented the state's compalints in
