‘Tot Shop’ Has Openings Story Hour
BUYING It SELLING nkills are taught at the Apple-for-a-Penny-Booth at the Avalon Tot Shop.

Avalon’s Tot Shop teacher “Our classes are open for children ages 2-Vfc to 5 years, ’she continued “We want the children to interact socially and form friendships before elementary school The youngsters are taught shapes, exercises and the art of buying and selling, as well as singing, arts and crafts, music and listening and sharing. THERE |ARE openings for about five more youngsters* They must be potty trained, but don't have to live locally. Fee for the classes which
are from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesdays and Thursday, is $20 per month. Mrs. Kauterman is the trained teacher and is assisted by Recreation Director Dave Haberle and Terry Foley. For further information, call 967-3066 between 9 and 4 weekdays.
AVALON - A story hour
program for pre-schoolers will begin this Friday at the borough branch of the County Library. The story hour will be held each Friday at 10 a.m. at the
library on 26th Street. Beatrice Konowitch,
Children's Librarian at the County Library, will
conduct the program.
Decorations Club Topic
CAPE MAY - The Women’s Community Club heard Clara Gray of Haverford, Pa. and Avalon on makng floral decorations for formal and informal table arrangements, during the
November meeting. Mrs. Kacimar Czupic served

Members are asked to •bring a one dollar gift wrapped for the Christmas grab bag. Angela Smith, Drama (Chairman will lead the Christmas program. Spiegel Is Named To School Brd. SEA ISLE CITY - Local builder Eugene E. Spiegel has been appointed to the Board of Education by Mayor Dominic C. Raffa, filling the vacancy created by the recent resignation of Milton Dale, who served the board for nearly 10 years. “I am very pleased to have been selected for this important position in Sea Isle City," Spiegel said. “It is not only an honor, but an opportunity to work to help my community." SPIEGEL HAS long been active in community affairs, and has been involved with many of the school sports programs. He is also been an active member of the Sea Isle City Ambulance Corps for the past 15 years. Spiegel and his wife Joanne reside in the city with their two children, Stacy and Robert.
