Holiday House Tour Set
CAPE MAY-This community will celebrate the coming holidays with a gala Christmas Candlelight House Tour. The unique self-guided tour will be held 6-10 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 27. Especially decorated for this most festive holiday season, the homes provide a fascinating glimpse at the decorating styles of the individual owners. The buildings open will be an interesting collection of both Victorian and contemporary structures. Christmas trees, dolls, doll houses, creches, candlelight, holly and mistletoe all combined to make this tour enchanting for hours. THE EMLEN PHY8ICK House at 1048 Washington St. will serve as a reception center during the tour. This historic structure, which contains the city’s Victorian Museum will be decorated with appropriate 19th Century Christmas ornaments. A special display of the extensive doll coUection of area resident Margaret Haipak will be an added treat in the Physick House during the tour. Tickets for the tour will go

on sale at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 27 at the Physick House. After 6 p.m. tickets will be available at each house on the tour. Buildings open for the tour can be identified by a bright orange banner hanging outside. A map of the tour is supplied with each ticket purchased. Box 164, Cape May 08204. A guided walking tour of Cape May’s Primary Historic District will be given at noon Sunday, Dec. 28, at the Information Booth on the Mall at Washington and Ocean Streets. This hour and a half trip through the streets of Cape May examines the history, architecture and gossip of this National Landmark City. Advance tickets are not required for either tour. They may be purchased at the start of the tour. All proceeds go to the continuing restoration of the Physick House by the MidAtlantic Center for the Arts, sponsor of the ac-
