Middle's Wayne Milledge, Jeff Kane won decisions and Tom Tice pinned his opponent in fhe I8H lb. class. The match was decided by the Mainland's heavyweight scoring a pin in his match.

WILDWOOD - The Wildwood Catholic High School boys' basketball team will have a shot at meeting some of the top scholastic squads in the country in the Seagull Classic, now in its seventh year, opening Saturday at Holy Spirit High School. Absecon. The Crusaders will clash with Atlantic City High in the nightcap Saturday. SHOULD THEY top the Casino City five, they will advance to the semi-finals Monday night, playing the winner of the match between Verbum Dei and Long Island Lutheran. The championship boys final will take place Tuesday evening at 8:45. Entrants Verbum Dei of Los Angeles, West Steenland Paces Panther’s Win ERMA - The Lady Panthers prevailed over the Lower Cape May Regional team last Thursday by a score of 4338. Sue Steenland was high scorer with 16 points and Sue McKinley had 14. Beth McCullough led the Capers with 13 points and freshman Lydia Valentine had 8. Middle's record is 3-0, Lower Cape May is 2-2. Their next home appearance will be Friday Dec. 26 in the Kiwanis Christmas Tournament.

2 Wrestling Falls in Row

The wrestlers of Lower Cape May tackled another South Jersey wrestling power in Millville High School and again came out on the short end. this time by a 36-25 score. After spotting Millville a 12-0 lead after three bouts, last Wednesday, the 0-2 Capers rallied to grab 15-12 lead. Mike Laffey scored a pin in the 122 pound class, 129 pounder Chad Randle followed with another pin. and Paul lames grabbed a 3-0 decision at 135. Following a Thunderbolt pin victory by Rusty

Goodwin that put Millville back on top 18-15, a pin by Caper Scott Taylor and a 10-2 decision by Ray Obst helped the Capers open up a 25-18 lead. The lead quickly disappeared, however, as Millville stormed out to win the final three weight classes to secure their first win of the season.
