Firemen Given Aids For Rescue

STONE HARBOR - The Volunteer Fire Company is Tot Finder decalstrtftr ne\v families in h. They will also ones that have been used over the years. Fire Chief Douglas Stanford stated the red Tot Finder decal is highly visible during the day and

reflective from a light sourcenit night. The attractive decal is designed to miiric the location of a child’s, invalid’s or retarded person's room. Should fire strike, the decal alerts firemen to clear the marked area first. THE DECALS are to be placed on only one window

in each child's room. ^»e window should be the one facing the street or the one most likely to be seen first when firemen arrive. It is important that if a family moves or a child’s room is changed, the decal be removed or relocated. Parents may contact the fire company for a new one if necessary. The Tot Finder . Fire Rescue Program is an effort to preserve the life of every child. It also affords the fire company an opportunity to instruct parents in what to teach children to do in a fire emergency. The supply of decals was furnished to the fire company by Diller and Fisher Real Estate and Insurance office.
