23 Honored On Service To Hospital
COURT HOUSE - Service awards were presented to 23 employes with more than five years at Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital at a special buffet luncheon. Awards for 20 years' service were presented to Mrs, Katherine Moore, a clinic nurse who has had 15 years of continuous service and 22 years at the hospital, and Mrs. Susan Hudgins, a nursing clerk with 20 years of continuous service and 28 years at the hospital. , AN AWARD for 15 years was presented to Alice
Hand.

Qoutd, president of the hoard of governors, and Waldron, the hospital administrator Fire Levels Camp Office ERMA — Volunteers from four companies battled sub-zero temperatures and a high wind early Monday morning while fighting a blaze that destroyed an office building at the Beachcomber Cam pground, off Rt. 9 here. A passing motorist reported the fire around 3:45 a.m. High winds carried embers some distance starting at least a half dozen smaller fires in near-
by wooded area.
Firemen from Erma, Town Bank, Villas and Rio Grande fought, the blaze three hours, the Erma volunteers being recalled some 12 hours later when gas from a propane tank at
the site caught fire.
