This involved one guard over 30, Balmer, and one under 30, Reagan. North Wildwood copped second honors while Hollywood l won and Lauderdale came in third. North Wildwood lifeguards, aided and abetted .by Zoomer and A1 Smith fared well in every event they entered.

MacLeod, Senior County Agent with (he Cape May County Extension Service, has announced that the 1981 Cape May-Cumberland County Horse Management Short Course will be held during February and March in the Cty>e May County Extension Service Educational Center, Denhisville Road, here The course will be presented on eight consecutive Monday evenings from 7:30 to 9:30 Feb. 2 through March 23. The evening horse management short dourse is open to all adult horse ■and pony owners in both counties. Those 15 years of age or older may also enroll. Deadline is Jan. 26. Registration and a course fee is required in advance and horse owners must register for the entire course. Reservations will be accepted in the order
received.

CAPE MAY PT. - The Cape May ,Bird Obser vatory, one of New Jersey Audubon's five statewide centers, will offer a course in the field identification of "Winter Birds of Cape May." The course will be held at the Wetlands Institute, Stone Harbor Blvd., Middle Twp., and will meet at 7:30 Wednesday evenings. Jan. 14 Ihorugh Feb. 11. E'ive etfenirfgs sessions and five Saturday piorning field trips are planned. A fee will bo charged. THE COURSE will be conducted with the beginner and novice birder in mind and will cover a variety of Cape May's
