STONE HARBOR - First and second place winners in the Christmas decorating and lighting contest will receive their awards from the Chamber of Commerce at the January dinner meeting next Monday at Henny's, it’ was announced by Glenn A. Townley, president. Judges for the contest were selected by Mr. and Mrs. R^dy D'AIessandro and include Avalon residenLs. Mr. and Mrs. Jewel Adamick and Mr. and Mrs. Stanley HolLinger. Moir, 255 Lower Flags Honor Gompf LOWER TWP. - Mayor Tom Clydesdale has requested that all Hags in the township be flown at halfstaff at least for the next couple weeks in honor of former mayor Charles D. Gompf, who died recently at the age of C9. "This is a tragic loss," Mr. Clydesdale said diiring Monday night's Township Committee meeting as he expressed his personal condolences to Mr. Gompf’s family A proclamation honoring the late mayor was the first order of business at the Jah. 12 meeting.
