Cafiero Retiring, Endorses Hurley

R-Cape Muy-Cumberland, following his announcement that he would not seek reelection for another term in the State Senate, issued tis statement from'his office here., “The time demanded to fully and conscientiously discharge the- duties and responsibilities of <a 'parttime' legislator has steadily and relentlessly\r>crcased over my 13 years in office. encroaching deeper and deeper into already limited personal time and professional time. I CAN NO longer meet those demands to the best of my ability, and the residents of Cape May and Cumberland Counties deserve no less. I am grateful to the voters of Cumberland and Cape May Counties for the honor and opportunity to have served in the legislature of New Jersey for 14 years. In Couch Fire N. CAPE MAY - Lower Township police reported a three-year-old boy burned both hands in a small fire Monday afternoon at Cold Spring Apartments here. According to authorities. Town Bankr firpmen were called to extinguish a couch fire in the apartment of Clarence Neely shortly after 3 p.m. Indications were the child was treated at the hospital and released. Parent Meetings
