SWAINTON - Six municipalities have scheduled meetings to view a source separation presentation =tby the Ca£e May County Municipal Utilities Authority. According to Geofge Marinakis. MUA Executive Director, Wildwood, Ocean City, West Cape May, StoneHarbor. The source separation presentation is tiie first step in trying to recover resources such as paper, glass and metals. It is part of the county’s solid watfte management plan. ' MUA Chairman John Vinci has asked State Sen. James S. CafierO to support legislation that will exempt solid waste costs from the state budget CAPS law. "If municipalities are to save energy and resources by adopting solid waste efforts, then they must be able to first begin to put the machinery in motion, and that will require an exemption from the CAPS lAw,"
