munity Club has - many diversified programs, always interesting and always well attended. Mrs. Reginald Brown of West Cape May is one of their most dedicated workers, doing it with a smdeToo. Want to jowT It's cAsy meetings are once a month on the first Wednesday at 7:39 p.m. in City Hall auditorium We need all the help we can get! THE CAPE MAY Parking Adyisory Committee held its first meeting January 29 in City Hall with Councilman Harry Gilbert officiating. Charles Pcsagno is chairman. Be on the lookout for this very interested group. They've lots of good ideas to help solve some of the parking problems now facing us throughout Cape May. They are now in the throes of making a survey of what wc do have insofar as parking facilities, what is projected we will need — and to make it all complete — a public meeting. Their next meeting is scheduled for Feb. ACME stORES held a Customer Promotional Fest. February 3 at the Cape May store Young and old and near-old were all invite'd to help reduce prices on so many pro-

ducts.

Refreshments were served and the store was closed at 6 p.m. to allow everyone

to first socialize and then proceed to help. Everyone got paid too at the? minimum wage of $3.35 peV hour and you could stay as late as midnight if you

wanted.

The atefiosphere was friendly, and the reduction prices on some items were as much as 'lO or I2t in

some instance)

ALL HELPED as groups were made up of residents from West Cape May and Cape May Executives from visiting branches stopped to talk to residents, watched'them make price reductions on various articles — replacing the higher prices with lower ones — stampirig canned goods put up the new prices. It was indeed enjoyed by all. Store supervisor Wayne Matthews, assistant, was equally attentive and kind. Many said, "let's do it again.”
