Anniversary Celebrated By Seniors

STONE HARBOR - A total oT62 borough Seniors turned out to celebrate the llth anniversary of the founding of the group. The American Legion Hall was decorated with a Valentine motif with a wall size "Congratulations" banner which everyone signed. Acting president Dottie Stump welcomed the members and introduced Lower Township Mayor and. Mrs. Thomas Clydesdale who are well known to many of the Stone Harbor Seniors. She congratulated the door prize winners, who had a selection of 11 prizes, including five dinners for two and two home-made loaves of bread, compliments of Mrs. Clydesdale. • A LIGHTED SHEET cuke with 11 candles wished everyone a happy anniversary. A second happy birthday cake, com-

pliments of Ethel Rudrauff, was displayed in honor of her husband, Charles. • Live music was provided /by Harry Strohmetz,,Ray deLaurentis and Paul Searlett. Marcelle de Laurentis, Jessie Strohmetz, Matt Woolery and Jean Westoff provided a dance number. Sara Brady led in a number of old time songs. "Stoneys” were awarded to the spark-plugs of the organization. This annual ceremoney honored Matt Woolery, perennial party program chairlady; Sara Brady for accomplishments in the bowling league; Travel chairlady, Ruth Fisher; stofy writer, All Westhoff; engineer of music, Drew Woolery; Den Mother, originator of the bowling league, Vernis Pilert; artist - update of the

COURT HOUSE- SFC Louis lacono, Battalion Motor Sergeant of the 154th Supply and Service Battalion of the N.J, Army National Guard received the Army Commendation Medal at a special ceremony conducted at the Armo# here. The medal Gets State School Post TRENTON - Richard Mdwer of Marmora, a member of the Upper 'Township Board of Education, has been appointed to the association planning committee of the state School Boards Assn. The responsibility of the committee will be to prepare a long-range plan for the association to be presented to the board of directors in June, according to Kirk P^ Wells, NJSBA president. The committee will consider whether the current long : wnge plan prepared in 1971 for action in the 70s can be extended or needs complete or partial revision. A statewide, non-profit organization, the school boards association is a federation of more than 600 local boards.

N. CAPE MAY - Ethel Pankow, a Cape May County resident most of her life, has recently joined Tolz Realtors in their office here. Mrs. Pankow has worked in restaurants in the area, and was a distributor of a • cosmetiq line for 12 years. She also owned and operated a small Cape May motel for four years. Mrs. Pankow entered the real estate business over two years ago with another local firm. She has earned the Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) Certification from the New Jersey Association of Realtors.
